Thomas Tassin is an associate attorney at the firm. His practice focuses on trust and estate litigation, including probate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters. He represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in complex and emotionally charged disputes, bringing clarity and strategy to every stage of the process.
Thomas takes a pragmatic and methodical approach to his work. He focuses on understanding his clients’ goals from the outset and developing a clear, strategic path toward achieving them. Calm under pressure, Thomas is known for his ability to analyze intricate legal issues, craft persuasive arguments, and guide clients through the litigation process with confidence and precision.
Before joining Wade Ash, Thomas served as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the United States Air Force, where he was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. During his military service, he litigated numerous court-martial and discharge proceedings and advised commanders on a broad range of legal matters, including ethics, contracting, environmental law, and operational law. His time in uniform sharpened his advocacy and leadership skills—qualities he now applies in his civilian practice. As he transitioned from the military, Thomas also gained courtroom experience as an attorney with the Aurora Public Defender Office through the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.
Thomas earned his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, graduating cum laude and serving as an Articles Editor for SMU Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and Texas and is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Trust & Estate Section, the Denver Bar Association, and the Judge Advocates Association.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Thomas now lives in Denver with his wife and their cat, Sam. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling, making music, attending concerts, and competing in volleyball leagues.
