Erik Schuessler is a partner in the firm. His practice focuses on trust and estate litigation, probate litigation, and commercial litigation.
Erik takes pride in achieving efficient and successful results for his clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-lawsuit negotiation, dispositive motions, trial, and appeal. With an extensive background helping clients resolve (and litigate, when necessary) complex commercial disputes, business ownership disputes, employment disputes, and real estate disputes, Erik can tackle the most complicated issues that may arise in your case.
Prior to joining Wade Ash in 2025, Erik spent a decade as a commercial litigator at Burns, Figa & Will, P.C. Before that, he worked at a national 300-attorney law firm and clerked for the Honorable Tamara S. Russell in the First Judicial District of Colorado.
Erik is licensed to practice law in the trial and appellate courts of the State of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also litigated pro hac vice in other courts throughout the country, including Utah, Arizona, Texas, and California. He has been recognized by his peers as a Super Lawyer every year since 2018 and has been honored as one of the Best Lawyers in America since 2024.
Outside of work, you can find Erik passionately cheering on Denver’s professional sports teams, skiing, enjoying the mountains, and spending time with his wife and two children.
