Steven R. Schumacher
Steven R. Schumacher, Of Counsel with Wade Ash Woods Hill & Farley, P.C., was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1985 with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado in 1992. Mr. Schumacher is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Colorado, including the U.S. District Court for Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the U.S. District Court for Hawaii and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. In his twenty years of practice, he has been involved in a number of diverse areas, including probate litigation, litigation involving misappropriation of trade secrets, trade dress infringement, insurance bad faith and coverage disputes, real estate, and product liability.

Mr. Schumacher has also been involved in a number of successful appeals, including Rivendell v. Georgia Pacific, 28 F.3d 1042 (10th Cir. 1994); Rivendell v. Canadian Pacific, 2 F.3d 990 (10th Cir. 1993); Scheer v. Scheer, 881 P.2d 479 (Colo.App. 1994); Kildahl v. Tagge, 942 P.2d 1283 (Colo.App. 1996); Carlen Company v. Frey, (unpublished); and Kowalczyk v. Adkins, (unpublished). He is a Fellow Emeritus of the Colorado Bar Foundation, and a member of the Colorado Lawyers for the Arts, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
