Herbert E. Tucker, IV graduated from the University of Colorado (B.S. 1979) and Mississippi College (J.D. 1985). He is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Court, U.S. Court of Appeals 10th Circuit, and Colorado State Courts. Mr. Tucker served as a Law Clerk to Judge Field C. Benton, Denver Probate Court, 1985-1986. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and a Member of the ACTEC Fiduciary Litigation and Elder Law Committees. He is also a Member of the Colorado Bar Association Trust & Estate Section and is on the following Committees: Former Chair and Current Member of the Probate Trial and Procedure Subcommittee; Chair of the Colorado Dead Man’s Statute Subcommittee; Co-Chair of the Electronic Wills Subcommittee; Member of the Statutory Revisions Committee; Member of the Ethics Practice Advisory Subcommittee; Member of the Abandoned Estate Planning Documents Act Sub-Committee; Member of the Elder Law Subcommittee; Member of the Continuing Legal Education Sub-Committee; Former Member of the Uniform Trust Code Subcommittee; Former Member of the Uniform Fiduciary Income and Principal Act Subcommittee; Former Member of the Colorado Directed Trust Act Subcommittee. He is also a Member of the Douglas County, Colorado and American Bar Associations. Mr. Tucker frequently lectures in the area of Probate, Trust and Elder Law litigation.
