The Estate and Trust Litigation
Department is routinely involved in
complex probate litigation, as well as

The firm was founded in 1982 by Colorado
lawyers having many years of experience
in these areas. The firm represents
individuals, families, charities,
executors, trustees and other
fiduciaries, and serves as a consultant
to other lawyers with respect to the
firm's specialized areas of practice.
Members of the firm also serve as expert
witnesses on complex issues.
Each of the lawyers in the firm's name
and several of its other lawyers are
members of the prestigious American
College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC),
and have been actively involved at
various levels of the College, one
serving as a Regent and others as Chair
of one or more committees of that
Organization. Many of them are listed in
the Trusts and Estates Section of The
Best Lawyers in America and are
recognized as Colorado Super Lawyers.
Many have written and spoken extensively
in the firm's specialized fields, and
have been active in Colorado Legal
Education programs. All lawyers in the
firm are members of the Trust & Estate
Section of the Colorado Bar Association
and many are members of the American Bar
Association Real Property Trust and
Estate Law Section. The firm is also a
charter member of the International
Network of Boutique Law Firms. The INBLF
is an organization of specialty firms
that concentrate their practice in
limited areas to enhance the level of
expertise to their clients.
