Spencer
J. Crona,
was born in Denver, Colorado in
1956. He
graduated from the University of
Denver (B.A. 1979) and earned a
Masters Degree in Journalism
from the University of Missouri
(1981). He earned his Juris
Doctorate from the University of
Denver College of Law (1989).
Mr. Crona is admitted to
practice in Colorado Courts,
U.S. District Court and U.S.
Court of Appeals (10th
Circuit). He is a member of the
Statutory Revisions Committee of
the Trust & Estate Section of
the Colorado Bar Association. He
served as Co-Chair of the Elder
Law Forum Committee 1999-2000
and served on the Statutory
Revisions Subcommittee for
Colorado’s Uniform Guardianship
and Protective Proceedings Act.
He also served as Chair of the
Statutory Revisions Subcommittee
which effectuated amendments to
Colorado’s determination of
death in disaster statute. Mr.
Crona has published writings on
probate, conservatorships and
guardianships, will contests,
various areas of public policy
and international law. Mr. Crona's practice focuses on the
areas of estate and trust
litigation, guardianship and
conservatorship law and estate
and trust administration.
Mr. Crona has an AV rating with
Martindale-Hubbell.
